Description

Come see UDL in action!  Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC) has been an innovative leader for the implementation of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) district-wide for over a decade. CAST is the founder of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and has been advancing understanding our UDL Guidelines for over 30 years. In this unique partnership, participants have the opportunity to deepen understanding about UDL and to see environments where educators have proactively and purposefully integrated UDL.

Participants will spend the first day discussing the core foundation of UDL and using CAST’s “Looking for UDL” protocol. The second day offers the opportunity to visit K-12 classrooms to look for UDL across a range of contexts across the district. Students and educators from BCSC will share the impact UDL has had for them from a personal and district perspective.

We encourage teams of educators, administrators, district leaders, coaches, curriculum designers, technology specialists, and education specialists to join us in this opportunity to engage in discussions about UDL implementation.
